Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA)
TAPA certification (Transported Asset Protection Association) is a security standard designed to reduce cargo theft and helps how to properly secure a company’s transportation and logistics.
TAPA certification is increasingly required by shippers, banks and insurance companies and is seen by logistics companies as a means to improve their reputation/position towards banks/insurance companies.
TAPA has developed three internationally valid security standards specifically for the transportation and logistics sector:
TAPA FSR (Facility Security Requirements),
TAPA TSR (Trucking Security Requirements)
TAPA PSR (Parking Security Requirements).
