Approval of Colourants and textile auxiliaries is an assessment procedure derived from the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).This part of the programme is specifically geared at producers of colourants and or textile auxiliaries.
To facilitate the assessment of colourants and textile auxiliaries we have designed a system whereby the producer of these substances can apply for the assessment at CU Turkey. After application our company will assess whether the substance is in accordance with the GOTS Standards and whether these substances may be used in products intended to be certified as per GOTS. This means that the substance producer can show dyehouses a list of substances that have been approved by CU Turkey. The dyehouse may then use one or more of those approved substances without having to apply with us to have the substances assessed.
